Texting Reference can add another facet to your library’s presence in the digital environment. Stories abound about successes and failures in this venue. What does constitute success? This session will discuss implementation, usage, best practices, marketing, and any other relevant issues relating to text reference on the QuestionPoint platform. Mosio provides a text reference product that can be monitored and used on the same platform that we all use for virtual reference. There will be an overview of the text reference service at a community college, as well as open discussions relating to implementing a successful text service. This session would be appropriate for librarians, administrators, and library staff interested in exploring or renewing a texting service.
