Description
The EMU Women in Philanthropy Oral History Project documents the organization's history across its 15 years of giving to the EMU community. In 2026, Matt Jones and Wayne State University student Amanda Miller sat down with EMU emerita and former College of Arts and Sciences Dean, Dr. Linda Pritchard, about her role in WIP. Pritchard was another founding member of the organization in 2010 and chaired the awards committee, alongside Dr. Nina Contis, for several years. In this interview she talks about the development of the org's grant application review processes, how her experiences at other universities compare to EMU, and what being on WIP's awards committee really consists of.
