Abstract
The purpose of this project is to explore the impact of political risks in the business environment of supply chain. More specifically, I want to learn about the political risk in Venezuela, and how it is impacting the diagnostics industry. I'll collect information and data from a distribution center in Venezuela, which has been in the diagnostics business for over 25 years and which has worked closely with the American company Abbott Laboratories. Based on the information gathered I will provide suggestions to manage and mitigate the impact of such risk.
