Abstract
The Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Revised (EPQ-R) was developed by Hans J. Eysenck to assess the typical personality. The EPQ-R was based on Eysenck's theory of personality that centered on three personality types: Psychoticism, Extraversion, and Neuroticism. The EPQ-R was developed as a response to criticisms concerning the psychometric properties of the psychoticism scale in the original Eysenck Personality Questionnaire. Research has shown the assessment to possess adequate psychometric properties and to be useful across a variety of cultures. The EPQ-R continues to be a popular instrument for measuring personality among professionals today.
