Abstract
© 2020 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased food insecurity in underserved communities and community partners have joined together to assist families in need. The Association of Chinese Americans Detroit Chapter and Eastern Michigan University Center for Health Disparities Innovations and Studies engaged community partners and distributed care packages to provide nutritious foods and personal protection products to seniors and homeless families in southeastern Michigan. The nutritious foods were tailored to cultural food preferences.
