Abstract
Reflective supervision and consultation (RSC) is a cross-discipline mentoring strategy to promote the reflective capacity and professional development of those who work with and on behalf of infants, young children, and families. This chapter will describe essential components of RSC and its practice. It will overview the present state of the literature, including perspectives from supervisors and supervisees. Future directions for the field will be discussed, with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
