Abstract
This paper discusses the process of dyeing and washing denim jeans and the ethical and environmental impact created by the denim industry process. The creation of synthetic indigo is explained and the hazards of using indigo dye for laborers and the environment. Details about sustainability, eco-friendly design and conscious consumerism offer solutions to the problems caused by the denim industry.
