EMU Student Newspaper: The Normal News & The Eastern Echo

 
Eastern Michigan University has published a student newspaper since 1881. Published as the Normal News beginning in 1881, the name changed to Eastern Echo in 1956, when the institution changed its name from the Michigan State Normal College to Eastern Michigan College. Microform of the newspaper are available on the second floor of Halle Library. Hard copies of the newspaper are available on the third floor in the University Archives.
